Valentina Jaffé's artistic process explores the material qualities of painting, ceramics and collage in order to translate natural and ephemeral phenomena into bodies of work. Her fascination with collage led her to translating it multidimensionally: instead of collaging sheets of paper, she collages space. The drawings and paintings are extended into the room through specially made mounts and incorporated into an expansive installation, transforming the exhibition space into an aesthetic experience.
